What it does
Global VAT Calculator helps freelancers, online shops, finance teams and travellers quickly compute VAT (Value Added Tax) for the UK, the EU and 30+ other countries. It auto-detects the right currency and includes a built-in currency converter with history and CSV export.
Why we built it
Most VAT calculators are tied to a single country and ignore currency. We wanted one place to switch country, add or remove VAT, and convert the result — without ads-only landing pages or sign-ups.
How rates are sourced
VAT rates reflect each country’s standard rate at the time of publication and are reviewed periodically. Currency rates come from public exchange-rate APIs and are indicative. For official filings, always confirm with a qualified accountant.
Privacy first
